Can I only use different .conf-files via the command line or is it possible to include the xxx.conf of the app or the alias?

When using Terminal application:

  1. open DOSBox with right-click, choose "Show package content",
  2. go to "Contents/MacOS/", drag the including file "DOSBox" into the Terminal application,
  3. enter "-conf ", drag the configuration file into the Terminal application to get its path,
  4. press enter to execute the command.

I probably put it badly:
From the terminal it's not a problem.
I'm looking for a way to transfer various -conf files via an app or alias without a terminal.

Use a front end that handles that for you. DBGL allows you to setup multiple DOSBox 'profiles' and each one can point to its own conf file. You can apply these to the game profiles too, so each game/app can run with its own custom setup.

Das werde ich mir mal ansehen, es läuft ja auch auf einem MAC.

Ich brauche es zwar nicht für Spiele, sondern für ältere Clipper-Programme.
