And yes, it boots from HDD, I haven't got a single floppy to go with it 🙁

@waterbeesie, ver doesnt work, but I hope the second photo answers your question.

This seems like it is good old PC DOS 3.1, and that makes it universal. If you've got a machine with support for the right kind of floppy you can easily create a bit disk from a raw file. I like the clean looks of it!

Stuck at 10MHz...

I've got the 6th Tandy TRS-80 model II ever made. Not the oldest, but interesting nonetheless

First time poster.

My oldest working PC is an original TRS-80 (model 1) with 1978 "monitor". I put monitor in quotes because it's really just a B/W TV with the modulator removed. 😀

Toshiba T3200SXC (1990). Had to replace internal power supply this year with DIY one because capacitors leaked and damaged the board. Edit: oh, and I had to replace LCD few years ago with much newer, but still electrically compatible industrial 640x480 panel. This is world's first or second laptop with active TFT color screen, but unfortunately these panels didn't last for long and all color and contrast vanished to the point it was unusable.

And Commodore 64 (breadbin), 1983 made in Western Germany 😉

Probably my old Thinkpad T42.

EDIT - Just tried to boot it up and the hitachi hard drive appears to have died. Seems like the perfect time for a compactflash upgrade. heh.

Nice kit. How's that BigFoot? I haven't had much luck with them over the decades (including when they were available at retail).

Thank you. It's been quite reliable and well suited to that setup. I have 5 other BigFoots with various other OSs on-OS/2 v3, SuSE Linux 7.2, Turbo Linux 6.0 and Xandros Linux 3.01. All work perfectly.

I have had two go tits up on me.

Hah, I've got one in a display case that I blew the motor on - do you still have your dead ones? I'd be interested in one as long as it still spins up 😉
