So, I have an Acer Predator x34, which has G-Sync support. If I use any output, minus surface, any game I play with G-Sync enabled seems to stutter in one way or another. Is there a way to fix this stuttering issue?

I had this same issue. With dosbox (various versions/forks/output types) and scummvm. I disabled gsync and that fixed it. I did it by .exe name in nvidia control panel, rather than completely disabling gsync globally. SDL issue perhaps?

Probably related to how many legacy dos video modes used 70Hz. Is your monitor 70Hz capable?
