Hey everyone, I seem to be having trouble getting Windows XP to install, I have the JP103-5 IDE to SATA adapter installed with a new 80 wire ATA-133 (MB only supports 100) IDE cable plugged into the primary IDE port. My motherboard is a D815EEA2 (non-Tualatin version) with a volt modified Tualatin 1.4-S GHz CPU. RAM is new old stock and is PC133 256 x 2 DIMM. I can install 98 SE no problem and it runs amazing, but for XP it explains that it cannot boot or read from HDD after it reboots to enter the main (I set optical first and then HDD next) XP UI install. I have tried formatting, removing volume and let the install do it, use as MBR, but no luck. the HDD is a WD10EZEX (1 TB). Does this have something to do with RAID drivers or something even though the device is being converted? This one is just a head scratcher for me for sure. Thanks everyone, have a good day/night.
