Hmm that's the chip on my card!
I can get into the RAID Bios by pressing F4. Here you can build Raid arrays. Here I can also see any SATA device connected, like a DVD drive or HDD. But I couldn't get it to Boot. I admit I didn't play around much longer as I have a working solution using CF cards but will test again.

Do not buy the VIA S-ATA card. I just got it and you can't boot from it. Seems to have issues with the Win98 drivers as well.
