At €15 I’d have bitten their arm off. I do have a 5500 (PCI) also, but I took a punt on one that needed repair, it cost around £75, bit of a gamble but it paid off.

As said...colud kick myself. 😒 I own a small/medium collection of voodoos w/o any special things...see the paragraph below.

I had Voodoo 5 5500 once, but i changed it to a lot of very old CPUs, now i own Voodoo 1 up to Voodoo3, no Voodoo 4 or Voodoo 5 at the moment.
My first Radeon card was Hercules 3DProphet 8500 LE 64MB AGP and from dual cards i have Radeon HD 3870 X2, but no dual Rage 6 or Maxx.

The Hercules Hercules 3DProphet 8500 LE 64MB AGP was also my first Radeon, following a Gainward GeForce 2 something and a 3dfx Voodoo3 3000 @200 MHz (sandwich cooled). Couldn't find it, but I recall (hopefully correctly) that @yjfy has posted a Rage 6 dual prototype on Twitter...so you definitely didn't have one, there was no dual Radeon before Radeon HD 3870 X2.

As said above... I own a small/medium collection of voodoos w/o any special things... 6x Voodoo Graphics, 1x Voodoo Rush, 7x Voodoo2, 1x Voodoo Banshee, 5x Voodoo3 AGP (1x 2000, 2x 3000, 2x 3500), 1x Voodoo5 5500 AGP. Except the Voodoo5 I got all for a very small price +/-20 years ago.

Rage 128's the first.
Rage Fury is Rage 128.
Rage 128 Pro / Fury Pro's the second iteration and adds DXTC
Pro Ultra is an OEM variant.
Fury Maxx was the most infamous/overrated for the premature double GPU novelty
XPERT 2000's are also Rage 128 Pros

This thread is dedicated to the particular Rage 128 lineup, not the entire Rage brand, so good job with that smug-first-reply. also what's a rage furry

Smug? What are you talking about? I'm so sorry about misspelling the ATi Rage Fury™️. I didn't realize that a grammar nazi was lurking around.

leileilol's post wasn't about your grammar, but about you were just throwing in a link in the first answer to the TO and mixed up "Rage" (the name of many series of chips like Rage, Rage II(+), Rage IIc, Rage Pro, Rage XL, Rage 128, Rage 128 Pro, Mobility, Mobility 128), "Rage 128" (the Rage 128 non-Pro series) and "Rage Fur(r)y" which isn't a chip at all but a specific video card from ATI, the "ATI Rage Fury"with Rage 128 (non-Pro). So that others could ask you "What are you talking about? It doesn't make any sense." and call it "smug". I didn't because I don't have any offensive diction, but I asked myself...

kind regards

I have no issue with someone explaining something to me like what you did, but just call it smug and be done with it. As for the furry, in my mind I just remembered one of the words has two letters and I completely forgot what furry means.
