Either way, I know Intel chipsets since 955X can have it.

Thank you, it looks like it's not there which is no big deal as I rarely need to run XP-32, the only system that would really benefit. The chipset is a 975X.

I don't really see the point of having more than 4GB RAM on a WinXP machine, unless you're dual booting with Win7/10 etc. Games from the main WinXP era (2001-2006) rarely use more than 1GB RAM, as shown in this thread. Anything newer than that, you're probably better off playing on Win7 and up.

There have also been some reports that having more than 4GB RAM accessible under WinXP may cause stability issues with Creative's EAX drivers and potentially other improperly coded programs, though I haven't tested that myself. To clarify, by accessible I mean available to the OS via PAE and such. Without using those methods, WinXP will simply ignore the extra RAM, and there won't be any problems.
