Whats your XP pc hardware? mine is a sec gen dual i5, 8gb ram and ssd, with this run great, youtube 1080p without problem (just remember remove ambient mode)
The one that was chosen is typical for the period, a Dell Dimension (4600? i think) tower. PRESCOTT,3000MHZ,200FSB, with 1GB RAM. The RAM wasn't the problem, as only about 200MB was used by everything with Supermium running.
But the CPU was completely maxed out, and I couldn't get it to do anything in a timely fashion.
After starting and stopping it a few times it just wouldn't start up any more. Other issues were there's no setting that I could find to set the home page, to set the download folder, or to do almost any of the usual adjustments. Further, most attempts ended with it wanting me to log into it (not sure if it's like signing into Google, or just the browser - none of which makes sense), which of course I won't do.
I managed to get ublock origin installed, but there was no button to update extensions, like Firefox has. And it still insisted that I log into it.
So, maybe it's meant for later more powerful CPUs? But then most of those won't be running XP. Sorry if none of this makes sense.
