Good old dial up modems...

I remember I got a US Robotics modem. It was recommended in a lot of magazines. Boy the Internet was still in it's early days back then.

Not only was there line rental and call charges. No there was also a monthly (in my case anual) subscription fee!

I was the only one in my class to have internet at home 🤣

There was this racing game, but I have no idea what it was called. I had a Pentium 2 300 (Got it early, so quite new at the time) and it was a windows game.

There was a chatroom and in the game where various modes. One was where you had to hit someone and then the others where chasing you or something. And of course classic racing as well.

I have no idea what the game is called though. I just remember it was a lot of fun, but there where a ton of issues with the connection.
