My GA-790FX-DQ6 board (790FX + SB600) is fine on Phenom I CPU's :
Phenom I x4 have trouble going over 3GHz mark on SB600 chipsets because latter don't support ACC.
Also, x4's are TERRIBLE clockers in general, motherboard or not - they simply don't "like" high clocks.
Not to metion they get really HOT after OC.
