I recently pulled a CF adapter out of the drawer. Gave me no end of trouble on any system that tried to use the CF faster than ISA speeds.

Sometimes the BIOS could detect the CF at higher speeds, but the transmission would be all garbled.

It was labeled CF-IDE40
