Picked up a subwoofer to pair with the Apple Speakers.
Advent subwoofer is not a thumper but should work well with the Apple speakers.

This little computer sold for $1080 back in 1993 and is great for playing old games.
The Sony color display works great and the audio should sound better now with the subwoofer.

I don’t know what it is about this little computer but it just keeps calling to me.
Its very addictive.

I was never a Mac guy because I always thought they were under powered compared to Intel computers.
But this little guy with its 16mhz CPU and 8mb of RAM can everything a 486dx-33 can do.
It plays games very well and can still surf the internet with HTML 2.0 friendly webpages.

I have a Math coprocessor upgrade for my Mac.

Guys, this 1993 computer with 16mhz CPU and 36mb of RAM can do it all
It can go online and Surf the internet with HTML 2.0 friendly websites, download software and games and programs.
I just plug it directly into my Linksys 4 port gigabit switch and it works.
Of course you need too add the TCP/IP software package and configure a Static IP address but that was not hard to setup.
You just set it up once and Never have to bother with network setting again.
This computer is Super reliable and Easy to use.
You can download the software from Macfixer.com

Plays allot of games too.

I think I am done upgrading this computer.

No, I don’t think so. I have a Mac Classic too. I think the logic boards are NOT compatible.

But you can switch the logic boards ( Motherboards )
Between

Macintosh Color classic
Performa 575
Black case Macintosh TV

I put the Original model logic board back in this computer and it still works good.
I bought a good used original logic board on eBay.

Well, I put in the Math-coprocessor but I don’t know if it’s working.
The computer still boots up fine.
I have 36mb of physical memory and a 500mb harddrive.
I am running MacOS System 7.5.3
But I don’t know how to pull up info on the CPU or Math-coprocessor ?
Anybody know how to do this ?

But the computer can still go online and Surf the internet and download software and games just fine.

I love this little computer.

It’s like Thomas the train. Tiny and trying to run with the BIG boys.

This computer is so Cute with its 10-inch color display and Easy to work with but can only do one program at a time like the iPad.

I think I made the Right decision back in 1993 by choosing to purchase a 486 computer instead of the Mac.

My 486 computer cost about $2400 back in 1993 but was loaded for Multimedia and could do more than this Mac.

If I would have purchased this Mac by the time I spent money on all the upgrades and accessories it would have cost about the same as a 486
And still not be a Multimedia computer.

The Mac is NOT really a Multimedia computer as the CPU is to slow.

You are better off with a 486 computer that can be upgraded and easily repaired.
