Hey there! I recently installed AO at c:\odyssey,from original cd, under winXP.when i open game.bat, i get in to the main menu, but when i select new game, it throws me to the desktop! I downloaded the mcp file but it does the same thing. Now, when i use dosbox 0.65, i type game.bat,but it shows c:\, like nothing is running!!! plz tell me what to do, in simple steps if u can , because i am an amateur....

Could someone please repost the patched .exe so it doesn't check for the strange character?
