Do all bootable images you download work?
And does any image you create from a real floppy
with that img work? (Do you use different disks, which
would reduce the probability of defect disks?)

Do all images (1440 floppies) have the byte-exact
same size?

All the boot disks from the original page that was linked here don't work for me. But they weren't created with WinImage.

It was easy to tell because DOSBox simply refused to boot them.

The boot disks from the other page, that did use WinImage, work as long as they're<=6.22 .

My own boot disks, that were originally created by Sourceforge's "img" and eventually by the much faster Flopper's disk2img, again work when they're<=6.22 .
