Voodoo 2 3DFX 12MB version 2.1

Can I SLI them without any issues?

Creative Labs DVD Drive 2 speed.

Creative Labs Infra x48 speed.

What I am wondering is.... are the two voodoo 2's in SLI more at home in a Socket 7 motherboard with a K6-3 450 cpu or a Pentium II Slot 1 400mhz

Both of your voodooIIs have 25ns edo memory rated for 100mhz, so you shouldn't have any issues

Forte VFX-1 (not my picture)

I've wanted to have one of these since they were released in 1995, but I never had the money and then they got pretty rare over here.
I got a lucky deal today, hopefully it still works. It's the perfect addition to my 1996/97 Pentium system.

The sealed ATP on the right was a recent (and reasonably-priced) purchase. It's doing a swell job of making me look like a MediaTrix hoarder... 😵

I want a 3DXG. Where can I find them? I've been looking for one of these for years.

I don't need the box, manual or even the DB. I just want the card.

Nice score with the VFX1! I use one with my own 97-ish Pentium system. It's picky about video cards - the best board I've managed to get working with it is a Diamond Stealth 3D 2000 (non-Pro). There's a very helpful Yahoo group devoted to the VFX1 that offers forums, docs, software, etc.

I'm hoping it'll work with a Matrox Mystique/Mystique220, since that's my video card of choice in the system I want to use the VFX1 with.
Thanks for the hint about the yahoo group, I'll be sure to check it out if I run into any troubles.

No problem. 😀 I'd suggest you going with the second option. Anything Socket 7 will probably be a major bottleneck for two Voodoo2 in SLI

Heh, please post some pics as soon as you get everything working

Got my hands on another dx11 era graphics card on the cheap even though it is many years from being "retro" for only $27 and change. A pci-e 2.0 radeon 5770 that is reference style with vapor chamber cooling.

PM rig might get an upload 🤣. 😎

Nice card the 5770. Until a few months ago I ran 2 in crossfire. The second increased fps about 2/3 over the single card, so look for another one if your want/need more kick since they scale well. Mine are parked in a reserve XP box right now. They were always a relatively inexpensive option even when new, $27 in hard to pass up on..
