Holy crap that's a nice hawl! I want quite a few of these games, interested in selling those you don't want ? 😜
Picked this up from a local op shop a while ago...
Ultima 7 with hint book... seems complete except for the cloth map 🙁
Into the 386 it goes
8 floppies took a while to install. Thankfully none of the floppies were corrupt or damaged.
Funnily enough the installer complained that it couldn't read drive D (my CDROM) and wouldn't continue until I put a CD in there.
This game is of course, a total pig to get running. It doesn't work with EMM386, but without it I can't load anything in high memory... and the Sony CDROM drivers take up too much space in conventional memory to run the game.
I ended up just making a boot disk (I'm running DOS 5 so I can't use a boot config menu) and loading nothing but himem and smartdrv (which makes a HUGE difference to loading times).
Very cool game though, such an open and immersive world for a game that's 20 years old....
If you are squeamish, don't prod the beach rubble.
I didn't even know Ultima VII had a 5.25" release. Who the hell had a fast enough machine to play Ultima VII, but not a 3.5" drive?
Awesome purchase though man!
Well there's a Disk Exchange Form still in the box. I'll have to check the box and see if it mentions which disks are included.
And yeah it sort of chugs a little bit on the 386DX40. I wouldn't want to play it on anything much slower.

And i bought games / software from the recycle center. 1 euro each..
Full version of redneck Rampage - Rides again. Simple release from interplay
Full version of SKUNNY 32-bit Arcade action from wizardworks
Full version of Duke Nukem2 on CD-rom from wizardworks
Full version of Alien Carnage Wizzard works
CD-rom of Doom Explosion -> has more levels and div files on it as expansion for doom / doom2.
And 3 shareware cd-roms. Didnt know they where shareware after i bought them.
~ At least it can do black and white~
Here's some games I got over the last week or so:
The local Value Village has had a pretty steadly stream of decent older Windows games. Sadly, nothing in box though.
Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast
Sonic CD for PC (have it already for Sega CD, but this is still cool)
Diablo
The Sims Deluxe Edition (for the Mrs.)
Bleem! (I nearly shat a brick when i saw this, for a buck!)
Serious Sam: First Encounter & Second Encounter
Farcry (Which I used to have and might still have the box for)
An "Arcade Fever" 5 pack with 5 games:
FA-18 Hornet 3.0
Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure
Pinball Fever
Street Fighter II
Test Drive: Offroad
And another I forgot to put in the photo, "The Mech Collection" which is Mechwarrior 4: Vengance, the Black Knight expansion, and MechCommander 2.

My latest pick-ups, mostly $1 each.
Hexen 95 is my favorite in the lot, still has the poster! =]
Picked these up for the grand total of $40 AUD... 😀
also received this a couple of weeks ago... I wonder if John Romero will still make me his bitch a decade later?

It's the only way to buy old games.
DonutKing wow Ultima 7 and 8 disk I beat that was fun install it
Yup back in thoses the game boxs where big
Found some sweet PC games today at the bookstore 😁
The copies of Riven, one of my favorite games, were $5 each. Both include the guides, and the one with the nicer box includes all the other inserts as well. Never had a full boxed copy until now, so clearly I had to jump on it.
Descent Freespace was $2, but the real gems are X-wing and Tie Fighter. These are absolutely mint! $7 each. I'm ecstatic 😁
Finally, Starcraft II was the reason I went out today. Been watching a lot of Day[9] and finally decided I need the game. Got it at Gamestop using a giftcard I got for christmas. Score!
PCs, Macs, old and new... too much stuff.
