Very nice find. And decent prices for those two

The best one is the 5x86-P75 with the Aries VRM interposer. Now that's icing on the cake and hard to find these days. I need to look for a manual for this VRM interposer as it has jumper settings on there.

Absolutely those interposers can sell for alot more without a cpu.
Omg, charge your phone.
It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.
It's being charged right now.

I've wanted that case for quite some time I just can't afford it sadly
I won't add to your pain by saying how little I paid for it (everyone else just wanted to bid on the office fittings???). Like you, I'd never have paid full whack!

No clue if any of them work.
yes please!

Ok, you can have a couple for free.. just have to pay shipping.
If you can PM me your address I'll check shipping cost and let you know. Should be no more than $3-$5 anywhere in the 48 lower States.

do you know what model CD-ROM drive that is?
Today the tower arrived. And checked which those drives are.
The CDROM drive is : IBM CR574-C from 1995
Floppy drive is: Epson SMD-300.. (seems to be a very old floppy drive) (iam guessing its from de 286 area.)
The tower looks very nice. Only have to clean it up.. En doing some retro brite on the most dark yellow parts. (stand, 2 bezels, and buttons) for the rest is just clean with water and soap, white eraser and some baking soda.
~ At least it can do black and white~
thank you, so nothing easily attainable unfortunately ^^ I really like that front bezel of that drive.

Thats what iam also intented to build in..
This is the most 386-looking case I have ever seen 🤣
Ordered a little something in Japan last Wednesday. This morning it arrived. Not bad for free shipping 😮
Yep, a Roland A-880 MIDI patchbay. Why? Because my Edirol UM-550 didn't have enough inputs, particularly as one was dead. So moar!
Of course, JP means 100V so I had some work to do
The key ingredients for my nostalgic slot1 build arrived today. It was the first and only Slot 1 board I bought first hand, complete with CPU and memory. I regretted letting it go, but now I have another. The iconic BH6 and 300A combo. Had some time to put it into a temporary home to make sure it all works. Had a few challenges, but up and running now at 450Mhz at stock voltage. Now to track down a suitable case, and pioneer slot cdRom.

Just a regular eBay auction for about the regular JP prices for these things. But instead of the usual (and understandable) costs to get stuff from the other side of the world, it said free shipping. Did a double-take, checked that country was correctly listed and it was still free. So bought it on Wednesday, with estimated delivery on September 23rd. Then on Sunday I got a message from FedEx that they were going to deliver the next day at my home address. Which was a problem as I hadn't exactly counted on it being so fast and I was still four countries away at the time traveling by train, so redirected to my work address, where it arrived yesterday about the same time I did.
That was seriously quick courier service. No idea who paid for it, but it certainly wasn't me 😜

I really like those Shuttle XPCs. I had one with a nForce main board. I still regret I had to sell it back in the day (I was a student and needed the money).

And in about two weeks time you'll receive a letter from Fedex for the import taxes (which thankfully do not include the crazy handling costs the Dutch Postal Services add).
