I am still Not able to Higher the Resolution above 1280x1024. 1600x1200 ist possible but does Not fit screensize and have to scroll. After reinstalling i am able to Set full hd ans Higher but trying that will prompt with No Signal. Settings Show me the evailability. Using Powerstrip let me Set full hd but after aome second Screen goes black and no Signal.

On another machine of Mine with x800 XL No Problems at alles even over füll HD with 85hz.

@rotzgurke

Swap the X800 XL and X850 XT between those machines and check if you see the same behavior on the other machine.

The capacitors are old and might not be doing their job anymore, de-solder them and replace them with new ones.

Ah okay. Na, that would be no go for me. Idea great for the ones who can do that.

Win98 likes to adjust the vertical refresh rate to around 100Hz for some cards.
Boot the system, select 640x480/8 bit -->reboot, then FHD/32bit/70Hz. Your monitor can handle 70Hz.

The 3 body problems cannot be solved, neither for future quantum computers, even for the remainder of the universe. The Proton 2D is circling a planet and stepping back to the quantum size in 11 dimensions.

Once again I am not an expert but sometimes Win 98 se has messy graphics if you do not install the directx (whatever version you prefer) before the GPU. I faced a similar issue with some of the GPUs I tried on Win 98se systems and it seems you need to get directx installed followed by the driver. Reversing the order messes up things. Also it might be a good idea to do a fresh OS installation if you have switched hardware around.

Also judging from your initial post, you have a 775 board with 2GB RAM. Have you tried downsizing the RAM to 512 MB and checking if the GPU works as intended. Also if you intend to keep the RAM as it is you can also try RLOEW patches.

i7/Titan X/X-Fi- XP
P4/X800/Audigy 2 ZS- W98
P3/Voodoo 3 3000/AWE 64 - W95

I also say that you need to install DirectX first.
And the Loew RAM driver is definitely above 512MB.
