Following up on my previous post on the history of procedurally generated textures in film, this organic animation is adorable (imho)

Desktop timeline [ MOS 7501 → 68030 → x86(P5/MMX) → x86(K6-2) → x86(K7*) → PPC(G3*) → x86-64(K8) → x86-64(Xeon) → x86-64(i7) ] * lost

Funny, I just bought a vcr today.
I have a bunch of old vhs movies from the 80s
I want to add a vcr to my home theater setup
So I can watch most types of media.
What I really need is a 8mm player
I had some sony back in the day but gave them away.
They are hard to find in working condition today
In USA.

C'mon folks, am disappoint, this retro forum, where laserdisk? video 2000? hell I'll settle for betamax. 🤣

Unicorn herding operations are proceeding, but all the totes of hens teeth and barrels of rocking horse poop give them plenty of hiding spots.
