I had the same issue with the 'negativised' image on Full-Screen mode (either switching to or startingn as), I solved it by setting output to overlay instead of surface mode.

I tried entering a command in the latest version of dosbox on my vista laptop, but was unable to finish the command. When I pressed the "\" key, "]" appeared. This only happens in dosbox. Can this be fixed in dosbox, or is it a hardware issue?

What keyboard layout does your OS have?

Just realized what the Dosbox keymapper is for...

I was able to reassign the keys with the Dosbox keymapper.

BTW; it was an HP Laptop with QWERTY and the delete button above the backspace button.
