An AWE64 Gold for $180.00 plus shipping:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-CREATIVE-SOUN … 3gAAOSwZ1lWgVIr

Now I can understand that the SIMMCON has gone up in price since there are no more GOLD units to be had, but come on. The only worth while part of the card is the COAX SPDIF adaptor was not tossed out as junk by the original owner line 99% of all the other owners did. Just a bit in the absurd price range, but not as bad as this next one.

Gravis Ultrasound PnP 1.0 for (wait for it.........................................) $500.00, but at least there are 8 whopping MB's with it. I mean wow!

Just curious - what's valuable about the SPDIF connector? They are very simple and you can easily make your own if you wanted. Is it just about having an original one?

they aren't. its just a 2-pin header to an rca jack.

It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.

You know, I'd buy this if it were being sold at 1/1000th the price...

For that price, it had better have been to space and back.

New-old-stock of Creative CT4810? Notice that the box has Creative's logo-tape on it.

http://ebay.com/itm/181889947162

And a CT5803 which also comes in a box:

http://ebay.com/itm/111905201512

Note how the box says that it comes with a "REAL" Creative Labs "QUALITY" ES1373 chip. As apposed to fake and crappy? 🤣

Large collection of various midi/sound parts for $1000. A bit much:

That last one isn't "a bit much." Read the description.

Fun fact: The person behind this listing is a fellow Vogons member. And yeah, there's a lot more to it than just "various midi/sound parts".

I guessed as much, since it includes some of the MIF-IPC-A replicas. But I think it would make more sense to split it up. And I say "various" since it includes anything from floppy disk labels to accessories, to full systems.

I still think it's an impressive ask for such a broad range.

I'll keep my suspicions to myself, then. If it's who I think it is, I hope the sale goes well.

3X MPU-401 boxed: $450
6X MIF-IPC-A replica: $300
1X MIF-IPC-A: $75
4X SB16: $100
2X SB Pro 2: $75
1X SB 2.0: $25
1X MT-32: $75
2X SC-7: $50
4X desktop PC: $300
Everything else: ?
Without shipping: $1,150. Shipping all this is > $200.

So a 30% discount is great IMO. Not "an impressive ask" by any means.

Apparently capacitors are worth $1200 today if you replace them in an old motherboard.

A tale of two mice ...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Microsoft-Ser … BQAAOSwezVWxqmm

and

http://www.ebay.com/itm/MICROSOFT-VINTAGE-2-B … KYAAOSwPhdVOE7N

Admittedly the second doesn't have the ball and cover, but the last 4 of these which were sold as complete units were priced at an average of US$25 ...
