Yup. I think the newest game I played on it was Skyrim, and I had to go into the ini files and tweak some stuff to make the game look even better than the highest settings, like tree self-shadowing, because 8800GT could take it. Then I had a bunch of midrange cards again, GT660, GT960, GT1650 - this one I'm using at the moment.

And in other news, I guess there's something wrong with the motherboard after all, and it affects the BIOS update system. With completely different and known good RAM, I tried to update the BIOS again, and once again that bricked the motherboard. So I'll have to do the EEPROM flashing song and dance once again. Merde.
