I once won this game in a magazine contest, together with a playstation 1 and some other games. All Game CD's clearly labeled: that they were only to be used for Press Review. Funny.

I've not played that series, but I have played Heroes of Might and Magic 1 a little, and some of the elements looked familiar. Some searching gave me that answer.
