Wow. It's been a looooong time since I last used Basilisk. So I downloaded the latest version today so I could start identifying the games that I have for the MAC. Looks like the latest versions have JIT and it's MUCH faster than before.
To give you an idea of how fast....

Right now I am "playing" Star Trek Borg in Basilisk! For those who don't know what Star Trek Borg is. It's a Star Trek "game" released way back in 1996. It's almost entirely FMV (Full Motion Video), and at times it will stop and let you decide which route you want to take (almost like a Choose Your Own Adventure Book).
I remember when this "game" first came out, buying it for my 486DX4/100 and marvelling at FMV on my PC. That's pretty much the only real benefit of this game although watching "Q" prance around is kinda of interesting.
Anyway this "game" is running very well under Basilisk on my XP 2800+.....except for the CTD's (MAC desktop anyway), that I get occasionally requiring saving often.
The error I receive:
"The application "unknown" has unexcpectedly quit, because an error of type 4 occured".
heh. Just as helpful as MS error messages......
I'm going to go through all the Basilisk options and see if I can get it running stably but anyone with Mac OS System 7.5.5 and Basilisk experience is welcome to chime in since my experience is mostly with PC's.
