😒 Hello!

Can anyone help me! me Strike Commander CD-Version works in slowly
on Dosbox 0.63. I don't activate on the install Menue the VESA Local Bus.

My quest is how can i use in DosBox 0.63 the VESA Local Bus(VESA)
i tried the dgvesa but nothing happens.

How can help me? 😢

VESA bios extensions don't have nothing to do with VESA Local Bus (VLB). The first ones are code to access SVGA modes and the last one is a type of bus like ISA, PCI, etc.

CVS builds have better VESA support I believe, so you could try one of those. I'm not sure it will speed your game up though - indeed, VESA modes were often used for higher resolution, rather than more speed. Setting Core=Dynamic in dosbox.conf, and messing with cycles and frameksip is more likely to help.

You don't need any command to activate VESA. It is used automatically when detected (if all goes well). Just grab a cvs version.
