I have just pulled out an old 7th Guest game and tried to load it on my Dell XP machine bought 6 months ago. Have not been able to get past the sound card screen. Will DOS Box help me load this game? If so, how?

Looks like 7th guest has Windows and DOS versions. Ideally, if you have the windows version, you should try to run that under XP. Take a look at http://www.home.earthlink.net/~infernofilecab … Guest_Setup.htm
If that doesn't work, you could certainly try the dos version under dosbox.
