Finally I was able to run this gem in Dosbox v.65 but there is no sound! I tried many configuration but it still does not work.
PS - I know it works in the native XP mode with VDMSound but I would like to get it to work in Dosbox because it appears the mouse is less jerky and it looks less pixelated in DosBox.
Any ideas?

I don't know why there aren't any music nor sounds under DOSBox 0.65 - It sounds fine using VDMSound.

Confirmed, BTW, this game was only recently fixed in CVS, earlier it didn't start at all.
Sorry for being a newbie. Does this mean the sound problem is fixed in the latest CVS?

Sorry, no, my confirmation was about the missing sound and music in the game that you reported, in DOSBox. Altering DOSBox settings (sbtype/cycles/mpu401) does not seem to help, so it looks like it is really broken. Maybe one of the devs can look into this issue sometime.

Anyone able to run this baby in Dosbox v0.65 with sound? Can someone post the setting (I am using d-fend) if you have a similar problem in the past but later got it to work?
