If there is a particular forum on the Internet dedicated to older Windows games that is better, please let me know. But I've hit a stumbling block with this game that I cannot figure out

In head-to-head mode between two PC's at my house, the timer starts at about 20 seconds and counts down from there. No Checkpoint or anything resets the time - you literally only get 15-20 seconds to play the game and it ends. This does not happen in single player mode.

Any ideas?

You can close this thread. I solved my problem. Apparently the No-CD crack messes up the multiplayer mode. All other patches floating around work fine, but that one lowers the timeout to complete a checkpoint from like 120 seconds down to 15. It can't be done.

I'll just keep using the CD.
