Which video driver will work under Windows 95 (within DOSBox 7.0)?
I tried both S3 Trio's and S3 864 VLB but it keeps telling me the video card driver settings are wrong.
I tried to make a search in the forum with no success (must of missed something)

You have to use vasyl's video chipset patch.
Modify dosbox.conf to use the tseng 4000 chipset.
Can't remember what tseng driver version I used but I believe some links were posted in these forums to them.
Even then the max colors you'll be able to get is 256 colors.
Thanks, it does work now. I have to admit I had some issues figuring out how to have the thing go. I think I had messed things up with drivers.
By now 256 colors is what I need and that's far more than I expected from DOSBox, so I really can't complain!
