Hi!

I am playing alien legacy, and it works with all variants of sound blaster sound, but fails with GUS sounds. Dosbox (CVS as of today) closes with:

Exit to error: DynCore: illegal option in opcode 0xff
(if core=dynamic)

Exit to error: CPU:GRP5:Illegal Call 7
(if core=normal)

Any ideas?

Maybe needs those GUS patches installed, did you try it with those?

I've been using DOSBox 0.70 with D-Fend. CPU core=normal. No problems. Have you run SETSOUND? Or try playing with non CVS DOSBox.
