Bought a keyboard. After good cleaning, it looks almost like new. Made in UK by IBM in 1989.

Squirrels Ahoy!

I recently spotted this wonderful albino squirrel who I've named 'Blondie' in my yard.

This turned into squirrel photo thread quite quickly 😁 This one is from my yard. Notice the nice ear hair on these north european models.

Oo, nice 386!

I'd love to see what all hardware it has installed - Is that VGA Card full length? Must be something interesting if so. I'm gonna call it now: DTC 5000 series hard disk controller!

some sort of Western digital MFM Hard drive / floppy drive card.

Have you been able to get any information on the jumpers for the graphics card? It is a Prodesigner 2 not a Prodesigner IIs.
The are jumper settings on it that I cant find any information on it at all. It does exist in magazines from the era it was produced.
There is a jumper JP2, JP7 and CMP. The is a bank of dip switches labled 1-4 and I would assume those to be the same or similar
to the Prodesigner IIs. I can't seem to locate any documents on this card what so ever.

K. Started a thread for wildlife updates. >>> Squirrels, squirrels, let's go nutz for squirrels and whatever other backyard wildlife you have.

Also will this slotket work with P3 1ghz (100fsb) on this motherboard? The adapter is jumperless.

Well....
Reading THIS, then I think the long and the short card are the exact same, regarding settings, jumpers and whatnot.

I have found the manual for the short board, that I have as well. Currently in my 486dx33 machine. Actually, they are quite wonderfull, and do not produce any of those vertical stripes on LCD monitors, that you see on ISA cards such as cheaper ET4000's and Cirrus Logic cards.

In the last week bought two of the NEC dual P5 (should get them tomorrow), assorted processors and co-processors, and a Gigabyte GA-8IPE1000 motherboard. Sorry no pic's.

Got the NEC dual P-200 MMX today, here is a pic of the board (sorry my phone takes crappy pics), is one from the NEC Proserva V Plus thread.

If someone would 3D-Print these, it would make a lot of people out there very happy.

A couple hours ago I bought a Tseng ET4000AX 1 MB card. It uses the ISA bus and it should give my 286-10 a speed boost. I paid only 45 dollars for it and the seller says it is working. Can't wait for it to arrive so I can try it out!

Set up retro boxes:
DOS:286 10 MHZ/ET4000AX1MB/270 MB HDD/4 MB RAM/Adlib/80287 XL

Hi,
I think I could organize for you an almost new Matrox Parhelia512. I wouldn't want any $$$ for it but instead would be interested in trading it for an interesting ISA Sound Card. Interested?

As much as i like this idea, i'm afraid i don't have any super-worthy ISA soundcards. 😀

Allround 815EPT, P3-800, ASUS V7700TIvx/32M, Creative SB0220 (my first PC from 2001)
ASUS P3B-F for tests

Found 2 cases on Ebay this morning, and they're within 20 miles of my house so I selected the local pickup option to save ridiculous shipping. I think this is the first time this has happened haha. About $35 each.

I have the mid-tower version of the top one, it's a cheap-o Athlon era ATX case but this one looks like it's in great condition!

The second one looks like an SGI workstation or something, very nice case!

I had the ES688 model of this card (Edison Gold-16) but when I saw the ES1688 model (Edison Gold-16 Plus) for $3 I couldn't resist:

My first ES1688 card too (had a lot of 688/1868/1869 etc. before)

The display on that first case looks interesting! If it's complete you could do some cool stuff with it! https://www.crystalfontz.com/product/cfa634tm … ter-module-20x4
