Stumbled into one of my favorite thrift stores today and found two motherboards. Both appeared never mounted. The ECS K7VTA3 V8 caught my eye as was in original box and the anti-static bag never opened.
The OEM Intel D865GLC also appeared never mounted so bought both AND it was old fart discount day so got both for 1/2 price. Have not tested them yet but know you all like pictures so here you go.
And Am not afraid to tell it cost me $20 for both after discount. Hope they both work, will not know until later when I have a chance to better check them out...

$20 for both boards? That is a bargain.

My first ASUS Media Bus compatible card arrived today.

Expectations are low. Probably a Jack of all trades when it comes to video or audio performance. Just nice to have an AMB card because I never had one back in the day.
I will use it in my upcoming Pentium Pro running NT 4.0 Server (I know, there’s no need for a sound card).

Snatched an ASUS V3800/M32 (TNT2 Ultra) from Ebay, which makes me quite happy because I used exactly that model in the end of the 90s/early 2000s to digitize VHS tapes. Though I used a Hauppauge PVR in the end.
It’s missing the box/cables (I probably still have those somewhere in the basement) and the clonky 3D glasses (they were a pain back then, I won’t miss them).

Cool, thanks for pointing that out. I'll go through my various boxes of screws again. In case I don't find anything, I have a well stocked store for screws nearby (it's really a store specialized in screws, which is pretty cool).

Those Thermalright towers are gorgeous.

I have been using their heatsinks since purchasing an SK-7 coupled with a Panasonic Panaflo 80mm fan back in 2002. I went a short stint with a stock cooler a couple times in between, but I have personally owned an SK-7, an XP-90 (my brother had an XP-90C... what a beast that was!) and I was given an Ultra 120 Extreme by a friend online back in 2006, which I migrated through *13 years* of upgrades until I built a Ryzen 5 3600 system in 2019 and coupled it with an ARO-M14G. I still have all of them actively being used to cool systems too (the SK-7 is still in the original system with the same fan).

This is why I never bothered with water cooling. 😁

Bought a slightly bigger SONY tft (SDM X72) for my next project. The good thing is it works and has built-in speakers. The bad thing is the bezel cracked a bit in the top right corner during transport. The smaller brother is a SDM S53.

Fancy. The crack can be fixed with super glue and baking soda with a file to smooth it.

I wouldn't even touch it. It's a hairline crack, any amount of fooling with it it will be worst.

Also Stealth32 VLB without BIOS. Anyone happens to have a copy of ROM? If not I'd need to check if I can get it working with BIOS from one of my other ET4000 W32p cards....

You can solder a 3.5mm jack or you can use a cd cable. However i think the ground pin on the card is actually on one of the either sides, instead of the middle (how it should be for a CD analog cable), but it works well. At one point i did this with my CT1920 and connected to the CD IN of my GUS. Alas, not only volume is a little low this card also requires the -5V rail, so keep that in mind.

I was just bidding this thing up to see how high it would go becasue it was already past what id pay for it since its not even the 24mb version just a shitty 16mb version. Can't believe it went for that. Thats vodoo 5500 territory. Arguably a much more desirable card.
