I've recently installed X-Wing (Collector's CD) in DOSBox .72 on WinXP and am having some issues getting my old joystick completely set up. I have a Saitek Cyborg 3D Gold USB. The joystick 'works' with the default settings, but I'd like to get some of the buttons mapped differently.

I finally figured out that changing the type to 'ch' gave my hat some discrete functions that weren't there in 'auto,' though I still can't set them myself. And most of the function buttons on the base of the joystick just duplicate other functions (fire, target, roll) already assigned to buttons on the stick. Saitek comes with profile software for configuring what the buttons do, but I can't seem to get it to work (don't have any WinXP sim games to verify this program works not in DOSBox). I'm not sure if X-Wing supports a throttle, but it'd at least be nice to get some of the other buttons remapped.
