Hello, well as I said in the topic title I am kind of noobish with this kind of thing. I have read that DOSbox is needed for installation so I got that, Version 0.72, but really have no clue how to use it unfortunatly I have tried to follow a guide I found here for installing Daggerfall but I keep getting errors. I have tried to install it in Windows (Using Windows XP) as well as through DOSbox but with each one I get errors. could anyone help me out or point me in the right direction or a very detailed guide or video guide anything will do. if more info is needed I will gladly attempt to provide any info needed. Thank you for your time

Read my 60 Seconds Guide to DOSBox (and don't just read it - follow it too).

If that doesn't help, come back with details on how you mounted your C and D drives, how you did the install, how you configured sound, music etc.

Ok I just tried your guide I followed it what it said to do. the only varience I did in the guide was I used F: to mount which is my cd/dvd drive as opposed to D: I got the to part where it says C:\>dir /w, then install once I hit install I receive this error "CauseWay Error 11 : DOS reported a error or corrupt file found. and nothing after that.

And do start with a clean install, a default dosbox.conf, and whatever is on the CD. Don't try to add patches, tweak configuration files or anything.
