Mouse works fine ever since for me with tp6 or tp7x or bp7.
Maybe try some game to see if the mouse works at all.

That is OK, but i use TP 5.5
I played with Wolfenstein 3D and mouse works fine.
With TP55 mouse still not responding.
I read the readme, faq, forum threads but there isn't answer why, and how should setup to work.

Maybe reinstall tp (within dosbox, that is) and have an eye on the configuration
settings if the mouse support has to be enabled or so.

I did the reainstall.
Nothing happened with mouse. Had an eye on config, but only filetransfers appeared.

Maybe get tp7 then, might even be available for free download from borland.

you pressed ctrl-f10 right ?

Initially i didn't use.
But i know there is an option to use that key combination.
So, i used that and the pointer disappeared.
Used again that is reappaered.
But didn't help anyway.

don't see anything that tp5.5 can do that 7.0 can't

Btw. tp55 has no mouse support at all it seems.

This is the background situation.
My daughter learns to programming in the high school.
There everybody have to use TP55. If she uses anything else IDE that will be disadvantage for she.
They can use somehow the TP55 with mouse support.
This is the reason why i'm searching for a solution for home usage.
Now i am close to resign, if nobody can't help me.
Anyway i am grateful and i thank to the community all the help.

Maybe they use a special version of tp5.5 or not tp5.5 at all.
Ask them if you can use their version, tp5.5 is available at the borland
page as well so that should not be a problem.
