i have looked all over the net but i cant seem to find a solution to my problem....so here goes...
everytime i load doxbox 0.74 on my windows vista business...it wont recognize anything i type!!....its as though theres no keyboard present!!
any help would be much appreciated....

Have you used Dosbox previously, or any other SDL based app that you know of? Dosbox gets its keyboard events through SDL - which occasionally has bugs, but they are pretty rare on something this basic.
Is your keyboard type perhaps something fairly rare (under "Region and Language" settings of control panel)? Are any of the windows ease of access controls being used? Do you have some other keyboard handler app running, like an app that sends keystrokes to another machine, or some type of keylogger (if so, turn them off and try again)?
