Yes, I've seen nothing about this in the manual nor in the wiki tutorial.

what keyboard setting do you use in dosbox and windows?

Default settings in both.
The azerty keyboard is automatically detected by dosbox and all keys are correct except "m" and "?" which are inverted. I think it's a bug. Can someone report it to DosBox devs?

manual says what to do if auto fails
we have quite a few people using the azerty keyboard layout. You are the first to claim that we have bug by swapping
M and ?. I wonder if those people don't use those characters or if something odd is going on with your computer. E.G some odd keyboard driver.
Water flows down the stream
How to ask questions the smart way!
there is no such thing like azerty keyboard, same ways as there is no such thing like qwerty keyboard. you have to choose the right language and the right layout for it. And autodetection in dosbox works correctly only in a few cases.
Autodetection works correctly for all those cases that can be safely detected
and this should be far more than 90% of the relevant users with non-us keyboards.
If auto selects azerty but swaps m and ? then either you have pretty borked
keyboard drivers, or your keyboard has strange prints on it, or all other people
for whom azerty is selected are too stupid to sense that keys are swapped.
So if you really want some help or "fix" on this follow robertmo's advice to
change the settings and if you still are incapable of figuring it out AT LEAST
post what dosbox version you are using and what keyboard layout your host
OS (to be named of course since there's like 0% information in your posting)
is using.
