we've 2 problems with DOSbox in our application. Our wages app is writtenn in AREV (relevation software), relatively old dos app, we've no time to rewrite it into modern .NET/Java platform.
1. Speed. We need tune speed. Performance is very poor, about 5-10 more slowly then DOS window of WinXP, but in Win Vista, or Win7, we must run app in DOSbox, becouse there isn't standard DOS. Poor performance due to disk operations. Any hint?
2. UNC. I know, that UNC isn't DOS standard, but we need that for data and printer access. Is there any patch and/or any hint how to use UNC?
