DBGL on ubuntu problem

hi i have ubuntu 10.04
i installed dosbox through synaptic package manager
i downloaded DBGL for linux(32 bit)
and the update
had both extracted to the same folder DBGL
when i tried to run dbgl through run in terminal
it did nothing
so i entered terminal and run it from there
i got the following error
class not found error exception

it appears that you need to extract all jar files
into the DBGL folder(the folder i installed my program)
so you will have the following folders
org/eclipse -- and all subfolders in them
org/hsqldb
swing2swt
SevenZip
and then it runs great

Hi hillelr,

Not sure what the original problem was for you, but as long as you have Java installed and the JAVA_HOME environment variable set accordingly, DBGL should be able to start by just unzipping the distributable and running the shell startup script. If you are using any of the latest DBGL test builds, you may have forgotten to grab the new SWT jar files as explained here.

Absolutely no need to extract any of the jars.
