#After I got both CivI and DOSBox working I created a
# script at the end of the Options file to recognize both
# drives (game and cd). It worked, and my drives were
# automatically mounted!
mount g g:\civi
mount d h:\ -t cdrom
# Then I thought I could also automatically switch to the
# game drive and run CivI - w/o having to type it each
# time. It also worked!
g:
g:civ
# Finally, after seeing that when I quit the game, I was
# back in the DOS screen, I thought "well, if the game
# first runs, and then sends me back to the same point,
# maybe I can exit DOSBox as well ... " and it worked!!!
exit
# So the full script at the end of the Options file is:
mount g g:\civi
mount d h:\ -t cdrom
g:
g:civ
exit
# And it ALL works! 😁
(As soon as I get some money I have to donate to the Vogon DOS Empire!)
