all i know is it locks up DosBox, but good....
if you run a batch file and cd to a nonexistent directory in the batch file, DosBox stops responding. if it's running in X (on a linux system), it can crash X if enough other stuff is running in X.
real DOS would return a "path not found" error...
maybe because of the physical size of the host drive, DosBox is just forever searching for the path?
it certainly uses a whole lot of cpu time to search.
