MY 32-BIT COMPATIBLE OLDER SYSTEM LATER ON
Lately i hadnt a case for this build, few days ago i find a nice one..
Its a nice bigtower. And i have stripped it completly today..
There was an older socket 7 motherbord in from the year 1994.. with a pentium 90 processor in it. It had a S3 trio PCI VGA adapter.. And finding a nice GRAVIS GAMEADAPTER IN IT WITH SPEED ADJUSTER!!
It had also a soundblaster 16 in it.. So i stripped the whole stuff.. Cleaning it from dust and dirt.. And now the system is running with a AUVA computer TAM/40-u1 80386 motherboard... I choose this over the MSI compaq one because it have full 8 of 16-bit slots.. It was hard to find a place for my soundblaster pro with de NEC X385 wavetable on it.. Because its a little bit higher, its blocking a upper ISA slot.. So i had to put this card on the top of the bord.. And needed to swap the memory.. The lower on the front, the higher above.. I installed:
-Acer S20 Magic Soundblaster PRO OPL3 with NEC X385 daughterboard
- The SIIG Enhanced IDE interface controller with COM and LPT onboard
- A Roland LAPC-I sound device
- Gravis Ultrasound ACE Version 1.0 upgraded with full memory.
- Place for a SCSI 16-bit controller card for CD-ROM Device and Second SCSI harddisk (if i need more space)
-Placed one of mine ATI VGA WONDER+ 512Kb in. ( I replace this soon with a 1MB VGA adaper.)
-Place for two 16 bit ISA slots left..
The harddisk is an older Seagate medalist 1.7GB (older version)
Had also a 2.1 gb here, but doesnt spinning anymore. I think the motor is dead, so throw it away.

This would be the case for this build.
Only the pin of the lit has been broken, try to search a solution for it..
Case have enough space for my ideas..
The setup:
AUVA TAM/40-u1 Full of 8 of 16-bit slots.
Acer magic S20 with NEC X385 wavetable board
SIIG IDE Enhanced bios card support for 2 harddisk drives only
and one floppy drive (doesnt detect cd-rom nor zip drives..)
Roland Lapc-i MPU-401 card
Gravis Ultrasound ACE ver1.0 with upgrade 1024KB
8-bit future domain TMC-850M SCSI card, i have take this out and soon wil replace it for an 16-bit SCSI one without floppy drive connector, so i could use a zip drive, cd-rom drive, 2nd or 3rd harddisk..
Temperoraly ATI Wonder+ 512MB Graphics card.
for now 8mb of memory..
