No its not a buy-it-now price unfortunately 😀

Well I fixed the issue. The system was crashing not because I had two sound cards but because I ticked "enhanced system mode" in the bios 😀

Now running a Sound Blaster 16 and Sound Blaster Pro 2 in the same system. Pro is for the speech and the Sound Blaster 16 is the MT-32 and the SC-55 interface. Working Great so far....

Yea the Sound Blaster Pro 2 is a great card!

$122 for a SCC-1 is a good price! Is this a Buy-now? If so I'd purchase it. Because you are getting a MPU401AT and a Sound Canvas in one hit.

It is a bid. So It will go up!

I'll also mention I downgraded the CPU to a DX2-66 just to test game speed and as soon as I did so the CT 1600 was unable to find its DMA setting. No matter which DMA setting I used.

As soon I put the DX4 back in the DMA setting was recognized again.

A google search of vogons found another user with the same problem.

Strange.

The new version of SoftMPU supports driving the MT-32 through Sound Blaster Pro and earlier cards.
