Tomb Raider 3DFX demo is a good test

Uses static link, so it should run nomatter how your ruined driver installation.

Back when a friend and I were playing Quake on Monster 3D's, we used the Barrage demo to test voodoo1's.

What is Barrage?

What about having the card working and running a demo, but wanting to test/verify specs?
Is there any utility/diagnostic tool (pure DOS) that will detect the card and say "that's a voodoo 2 with 8mb", perform some tests and verify that all memory is ok, both TMU's are operational etc.
Or is it enough that demos run and in case of any problem, it would be obvious to spot?

GLQuake isn't DOS

Use this download. It includes a full Glide2x diagnostic kit for DOS (in sdk\glide2x\bin\dos).
