What kind of computer will play this game comfortably and not cause any timing bugs? A 386DX? 486?

The game was released in 1994, and I recall playing through it successfully shortly thereafter. So fast 486's, early Pentiums, or equivalent AMD/Cyrix processors should be fine. I think I would have been using a Cyrix back then.
