So, I'm still in the process of finding a suitable and affordable sound card for my 486 rebuild that contains the CS4232 and CS9233/SAM9233 chipsets. While searching, I found the following on the German eBay:
http://www.ebay.de/itm/Crystal-MJ-021-R00-CS3 … %3D271763663524
It is a model "CS32-3DI" sound card. This model does not appear in Gerwin's list of ISA cards, and I am not finding any information or high-res photos of it on Google. There is a top-down photo of this card on Amazon UK, but it is too low-res to make anything out. HOWEVER, the picture on the German eBay is just barely large enough to make out that it does indeed use the CS4232 chipset. Unfortunately, I cannot discern what any of the other chips are, so I am unable to determine whether it uses a 9233 or other OPL, cloned or genuine.
Does anyone know anything about this model of card?
