i did a few tests, with following settings:
board1: informtech 4ip-umc-aio with umc8881. informtech is an unknown brand from hongkong, and this board looks like a mixture of adi tk8881, pcchip m921 and soyo syl8884.
board2: atrend atc-1425b with sis496.
both board has 512kb cache in write back mode.
cpu: amd5x86-133.
ram: 2*32mb fp dram.
hdd: 8gb ide ssd.
video: pci riva128zx 8mb.
sound: creative sb16scsi.
lan: intel 82559.
os: win95osr2.5 without installing ie4, discrete ie5.5 installed instead.
directx6.1
for both boards, i use 2-1-2 cache timing and 0wait dram for 33fsb, 3-2-3 cache timing and 1wait dram for 50fsb.
