So if these drivers don't work, then as MERCURY127 suggested, you probably have a hardware failure of some sort.

So I just came across this thread when restoring an old Windows 98 rig and unfortunately these linked drivers did NOT work for me either on my DFE-530TX+ Rev.D2. I was however able to find working ones here: https://www.fixya.com/support/t3682366-dlink_ … e_538_tx_rev_d2
