How to make dosbox look exactly like the real dos without booting an image?

Postby lucky7456969 » 2017-8-11 @ 13:03

If I want the dosbox to display the same messages as the original dos software, and among many other things, that make it resemble the look and operations of the original dos...
the caveat is I don't want to boot an image, because when you do it over and over again during the day, it will just slow you down
how is it possible?
thanks

Just make a batch file with a bunch of echo commands and pretend it's a real dos if you're not willing to use boot images.
Voodoo2s aren't 100mhz stock
Geforce256 isn't released as a beta on New Years '99 under the Quadro brand
386DX vs SX isn't about a missing FPU
DOS gaming isn't a bilinear 320x200 16:10
DOS PCs aren't better than the Macintosh
Old PCs aren't 'aesthetic'
