Heh... I found one of those Gateways at a local auction once. It was like it was never touched - completely original. 1.3GHz willamette, 256MB RAM (might have even been 128MB, it's been a while). It booted into a seemingly virgin Windows ME install. It was as if it had never actually been used. I wanted it, but someone wanted it more than me and I wasn't going pay more than him...

I was lucky that day, walked into a little thrift store and found a stack of old computers in the back plus an original Tandy enhanced keyboard. Left there with 3 computers and the keyboard for $25. The Gateway was the best of them all though.

Found it at a thrift store for $10 and have loved it ever since. It is a beautiful machine and runs great.

Those early P4 Gateways are awesome. One of the computer labs at my high school was decked out with them back in the mid-2000's. We used that lab for our computer club and played an awful lot of counter strike on those machines. Good times.
